PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and its transfer roller, capable of preventing white-drop of an image due to the time required for a prescribed voltage, even with a transfer roller having resistance-controlled material such as as EPDM. SOLUTION: In the image revealed on the electrostatic latent image carrier is transferred to a medium by a transfer roller, to which a constant current is applied, based on the circumferential length of the transfer roller, the transfer roller is applied with a constant current, before the tip of image on the electrostatic latent image carrier reaches a transfer region. |
