PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically illuminated display device of which depth is reduced and in which the display contents can be easily changed. SOLUTION: The electrically illuminated display device for illuminating characters and pictures with light to display them is provided with a back panel to which a printed matter with characters and pictures printed is fixed, a light emitting part for emitting light, a light transmitting plate which has a face having a light reflection part formed to reflect the light emitted from the light emitting part and is placed closely to the printed matter and reflects the light emitted from the light emitting part and propagated on the inside by the light reflection part and radiates the light to the printed matter, a holding part for holding the light transmitting plate and the light emitting part, and an outer frame which fixes the back panel and supports the holding part so as to be able to bring the light transmitting plate close to or away from the printed matter. |
