<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for replacement operation, in which no removing or re-attaching of a component installed in a casing is required, when replacing an O-ring of a gas-insulated switch gear, for improved work efficiency. SOLUTION: When replacing an O-ring 6, a part of a casing 2 is cut off to a prescribed width to remove the O-ring 6. The O-ring material, to be attached, a part of which is cut out and the ends of which comprise a non- vulcanized part of a prescribed length is so arranged as to enclose conductive members 5 and 7. Both ends of O-ring material are abutted, and the non- vulcanized parts are heated and vulcanized, to form an annular O-ring 6. After the O-ring 6 is attached to a flange part 3, a part of the casing 2 that is cut out is welded for airtightness.</p> |
