PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reproduce information signal only in the case of satisfying a prescribed condition when video software is distributed through digital broadcasting and line. SOLUTION: In the method for controlling reproduction of an information signal enciphered and recorded on a recording medium, first reproduction condition information of the information signal, which is generated by the provider of the information signal and recorded on the recording medium, is reproduced from the recording medium, the reproduced first reproduction condition information is rewritten into second reproduction condition information, and the recorded information signal is reproduced from the recording medium. |
