PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a high luminosity electric discharge lamp, which has not been made to turn on until the inside of the discharge tube has been cooled to have low vapor pressure, carry out re-lighting instantly and automatically. SOLUTION: In the lighting control equipment for high frequency lighting type high luminosity electric discharge lamp, which consists of a voltage type inverter part, a distributed constant line part, and a load circuit part that consists of a LC parallel resonance circuit and the high luminosity electric discharge lamp, an igniter, which consists of a fly-back type booster and the distributed constant line, is attached. At the time of initial lighting and usual lighting of the above electric discharge lamp, it is carried out the lighting with the high frequency electric power, which is generated by carrying out immittance-conversion of the distributed constant line part connected to the above voltage type inverter part. Further, when the above electric discharge lamp puts out the light, the above distributed constant line of the igniter is made to function automatically to carry out the re-lighting instantly. |
