DISCHARGE LAMP LIGHTING CONTROL CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp light control circuit enabled to easily changed the mode into desired control mode. SOLUTION: A discharge lamp lighting control circuit has a control routine necessary for practicing five modes for the control of a discharge lamp light, which has nine control routines (1)-(9) in order to use control routines commonly with the practical common routines. The discharge lamp light control circuit comprises a hard ware 5 as a state machine for practicing the control routines (1)-(9), an A/D converter 62 taking in detecting signal related to the operation of a discharging lamp 1, a time counter 61 detecting the time length of lighting/ not lighting period, and a mode changing part 65 outputting a command signal which compulsorily changes the control mode.
