PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of separately performing interrupting operation of a branch circuit at a low cost by detecting arc failure for every branch circuit. SOLUTION: A mechanical component for structuring a monopole circuit breaker 3 is provided on a housing unit 2 with a predetermined module unit dimension which can be mounted on a specified distribution board so that operation can be conducted from an opening of a front panel of the distribution board. A plurality of the housing units 2 are connected to each other so that excess spaces 21, 21 except for an installation space of the mechanical component communicate each other to form a housing main body 4, and an electronic component for structuring an operation functioning part 6 relating to operation of respective monopole circuit breakers 3, 3 is provided across the communicated excess spaces.
