PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide shaft holding mechanism capable of increasing the positioning accuracy of a guide shaft and reducing the number of assembling steps. SOLUTION: By a thrust receiving member 6 for receiving the thrust load of one end of a guide shaft 1, the radial direction positioning of the end is carried out. By a chassis direction load receiving member 5 disposed in the vicinity of the other end of the guide shaft 1, the radial direction positioning of the other end of the guide shaft 1 is carried out. The thrust load and a component force directed to the chassis are applied to the other end by a pressing member 10.
