PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged member capable of solving the problem of initial fogging, resistance to fogging and OPC adhesion, surely performing proper charging operation, even under severe conditions and of stably obtaining a proper images. SOLUTION: The charged member contacted on a body to be charged and charging the body to be charged by applying voltage with the body to be charged is provided with an elastic layer and at least one layer of a resin layer formed on the elastic layer, and the uppermost resin layer contacted on the body to be charged is formed by a resin material, containing a polyamide of 50 wt.% or higher and a polysiloxane component of 50 wt.% or lower.
