PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troubles from occurring, such as fouling of a recording material image at image formation restart, fouling of the back of the recording material, winding of the recording material against a rotation fixing member or the like, which result from a developing agent adhesion pollution of the rotation fixing member when a jam or the like happens, for an image formation device which has a fixing means 13, which fix and unfixed developing agent image to the recording material by pinching and transmitting a recording material 2, that has unfixed developing agent image formed at an imaging means at two nip parts of the rotation fixing member. SOLUTION: If there is the possibility of the recording material 2 being pinched at the nip part of the fixing means 13, when a jam occurs, a mode to clean the rotation fixing member is carried out by removing and recovering the recording material 2 with an image being unformed from the rotation fixing member, after it goes through the nip part of the fixing means 13, and the adhered residual developing agent on the surface of the rotation fixing member is transmitted to the recording material with an image unformed, before the restart of printing, after jam processing. |
