摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of photographing a desired image by utilizing an imaging element adopting the multiple field read system and of preparing a full color image signal in a short read time. SOLUTION: The electronic camera having an imaging element for dividing an image signal obtained by photographing an object into a plurality of fields and outputting divisions is characterized in to comprise a selection means for selecting the processing of the image signals divided into a plurality of the fields and outputted according to an image quality mode and is also characterized in to comprise a signal generating means for generating odd and even signals by using a different field of the image signals divided into a plurality of the fields and outputted at photographing a moving picture.
