PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the dispersion of qualities among components, stabilize functional characteristics, and enhance assemblability in a cross key switch. SOLUTION: This cross key switch 11 is constituted in such a way that four rubber switches 14, 14, 14, 14 for outputting in four directions are installed on a substrate, a pad bottom 15 for pushing down the rubber switches 14, 14, 14, 14 are placed on the rubber switches 14, 14, 14, 14, and a pad top 15 is installed on the pad bottom 15. Four leg parts, 23, 24, 25, 26 are hung from the lower surface of the pad top 18, hooks 23a, 24a are installed at the tips of the facing two leg parts 23, 24 among the four leg parts 23, 24, 25, 26, opening parts 19, 20 are installed in the position corresponding to the hooks 23a, 24a of the pad bottom 15 so as to hook the leg parts 23, 24, and other two leg parts 25, 26 are threaded to the pad top 15.
