PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video camera/still camera capable of checking the display of a title or the like described in an image recording unit in the fitted state of the unit and suppressing the width of the product to narrow size. SOLUTION: A memory card storing projected part 119 is formed on a part corresponding to the recessed part of a screen of a large liquid crystal display part 103 on the storing side surface part of a large liquid crystal display unit 102 of a video camera body 109 and a memory card 120 is stored in the projected part 119. Since the projected part 119 is constituted as the size to be stored in the display part 103 when the unit 102 is stored in the body 109, the width of the body 109 is not increased even when the projected part 119 is stored. Switches for operating the memory card 120 are arranged in the vicinity of the unit 102 and a transparent window for identifying the memory card 120 is formed on the projected part 119.
