PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a capacitor element formed in a laminated structure by alternately laminating dielectric layers and conductive foil upon another and winding up the laminate to have electric field relieving effects in the end sections of electrodes and, in addition, a stabilized quality for a long period without causing electric field differences. SOLUTION: The capacitor element 10 having no pointed end section nor step is formed by winding up a laminate formed by laminating dielectric films 30 composed of polypropylene, etc., upon conductive foil 20 formed by folding up aluminum foil, etc., which becomes one capacitor electrode into two halves and conductive foil 40 formed by folding up aluminum foil, etc., which becomes the other capacitor electrode upon the films 30 by positioning the bent end sections 20a and 40a of the foil 20 and 40 on the opposite sides, and protruding the end sections 20b and 40b of the folded-up two halves of the foil 20 and 40 opposite to the end sections 20a and 40a from the dielectric films 30.
