PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device capable of accurately outputting color space information at the time of generating picture data. SOLUTION: A CPU 31 in a color printer 20 executes gamma correction and matrix operation M for the picture data of RGB color space obtained by matrix S operation. The CPU 31 executes gamma conversion processing for image data by using a set gamma correction value. The matrix operation M is arithmetic processing for converting the RGB color space into XYZ group color space. In the case of executing the matrix operation M, the CPU 31 refers to a print matching tag in order to reflect color space for the generation of picture data and executes matrix operation by using a matrix (M) corresponding to written color space. |
