PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical head which can move at a high speed and can stably perform the irradiation with a large intensive near-field light, and in which the handling at the time of assembling is easy. SOLUTION: The optical head 1000 consisting of a fixing part 11 which is attached to a suspension arm giving a load, a flexure part 1 which is attached to the fixing part 11 and which can change the posture with respect to the fixing part 11, a slider 4 which is attached to the flexure part 1, which obtains a floating force by the relative movement with respect to a recording medium, and which makes a gap to the recording medium by the balance between the load and the floating force, an optical aperture 3 which is formed so as to be disposed opposite the recording medium, and a light induction part 6 which introduces light to the aperture 3, is characterized in that the light guide part 6 is formed on the fixing part 11, and in which the flexure part 1 is formed on the utmost surface layer of the side of the fixing part 11 facing to the recording medium. |
