PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem wherein a large attaching space is necessary and a plurality of arrester apparatuses can not be installed in a narrow space, when a plurality of the arrester apparatuses installed on telephone lines, etc., are stacked and disposed. SOLUTION: The plurality of the arrester apparatuses 10, comprising thin rectangular arrester units 20 coupled detachably to thin trapezoidal terminal blocks 40 are stacked in the thinned direction and installed on the telephone lines, etc. The arrester unit 20 accommodates a thinned circuit board for protecting against thunder in the first thin housing 30. Since large components are disposed in an opening of the circuit board, the circuit board is thinned. The terminal block 40 accommodates circuit components, such as connectors, connection terminals grounding terminals, etc., in the second thin housing 41, and both thin housings have a thickness of approximately 10 mm. |
