PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a notification sound generating device which generates operating sound of a motor as the notification sound. SOLUTION: The notification sound generating device has a motor and a motor drive means for driving the motor, based on a PWM signal, and generates the notification sound, when a phenomenon to be informed a user occurs. The notification sound to be generated is set as a frequency of the PWM signal in the audible sound region.
