<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product development supporting method and system which can support the development of a new product by presenting judging material for the development of the product. SOLUTION: The product development supporting system consists of a product development supporting server 1, a product development supporting database 2, customer terminals 4 (41 to 4n ) connected through the Internet 3, and a developer terminal 5. The supporting server 1 calculates a utility value to the improvement of the prescribed performance of the product and calculates the additional payment intending amount of a customer to the improvement of the prescribed performance of the product from the utility value. In addition the supporting server 1 calculates the total amount of additional payment intending amounts from the additional payment intending amount and compares the total amount of additional payment intending amounts with costs for the development of the product to predict the propriety of the development of the product.</p> |
