PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-fixing apparatus mountable to a color image forming apparatus, achieving energy-saving fixing and oilless fixing and having a sufficient property for separating a recording paper without an abutting member, such as a separation claw. SOLUTION: The belt-fixing apparatus (20) has an endless fixing belt (3) suspended on a heating roller (1) and a fixing roller (2), a pressure roller (4) provided opposite to the fixing roller (2) via the fixing belt (3), and a heater (5) for heating the fixing belt, within one or both of the heating roller (1) and the pressure roller (4). A charging apparatus (12) for charging the recording paper (13) is provided in between the heating roller (1) and a nip, formed by the fixing roller (2) and the pressure roller (4). The belt-fixing apparatus (20) applies a bias voltage between the fixing roller (2) and the pressure roller (4).
