PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use bulletin board management system which does not require a large capacity server to a bulletin board administrator, and by which members can easily exchange (write) messages. SOLUTION: The bulletin board management system comprises a member attributes information storing unit 17 for storing attributes information, including mail addresses of the members of the bulletin board over a network, a new mail address receiving unit 21 for receiving the mail address of a newly registered member by accessing an intermediary server storing the mail addresses of the members, a message-receiving unit 22 for receiving messages transmitted to own mail address, a message transmission unit 23 for transmitting a prepared message and messages from other members to the mail addresses of one or more other members, and a message-storing unit 18 for storing the prepared messages, transmitted messages and received messages, by making them relate with the IDs of the respective messages.
