PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair a clipped part of a sound-recorded waveform. SOLUTION: A sampling waveform REC is differentiated and the clip part is detected in the differentiated waveform. Then a corrected waveform W3 of a quintic function which passes the front end (a) and rear end (b) of the clip part cut at a cutting level (th) of the sampling waveform REC, has a gradient nearly equal to that between the points (a) and (b), and has its peak point in the middle between the points (a) and (b) is generated and connected to the points (a) and (b). |
