IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND TONER USED THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method of a heating roller fixing system constituted so that at least one roller may have an elastic layer by which the deterioration of the elastic layer of the roller is prevented to make the granularity of a toner image after fixing good and image quality excellent. SOLUTION: The heating roller fixing method in which the toner image is thermally fixed by making a supporting body carrying the toner image consisting of at least resin and wax as a toner component pass between two rollers is used as this image forming method. In the method, at least one roller has elasticity and toner whose volatile component on a condition of 100 to 150 deg.C is <=0.15 weight % is used. It is more desirable to set the volatile component to <=0.10 weight %. In order to control the volatile component to <=0.15 weight %, kneading temperature and kneading time or the like in a toner producing stage are property selected and adjusted.
