PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transfer sheet from being recessed by partial stress concentration, when the transfer sheet of a transfer drum is contracted or expanded by a variation of temperature or humidity. SOLUTION: An elastic layer is one of constituting components of the transfer drum, adheres to the transfer sheet and is provided with grooves or holes.
