PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a heat-developable photographic sensitive material less liable to cause conveyance trouble in a heat developing machine and having improved dimensional stability and improved creases after heat development. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the heat-developable photographic sensitive material, a photosensitive layer is formed using a latex polymer, the temperature of the lower part (support side) of the photosensitive layer during drying after coating is made higher than that of the upper part (air side) of the photosensitive layer to provide a structure non-uniform in the thickness direction and the volume of drying air on the bottom side of the photosensitive layer is made larger than that on the top side of the photosensitive layer to form the objective photosensitive layer.
