PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation section, which is reduced in size and cost and which is easy for an operator to understand and operate, in an original scanning apparatus which has both facsimile and copying function and can scan both sides of an original. SOLUTION: Keys to be used by an operator to set a transmission side of an original in a transmission mode also serve for keys to be used to set a copy side of the original in a copy mode, concurrently as keys for setting a scan side mode. A display means for displaying the state is set to a copy mode, since more LED display lamps are used for setting the scan side mode in the copy mode than in the transmission mode. At the transmission mode, by having a part of the plurality of LED display lamps of the display means not operating, the display means is used in double. |
