PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, that is provided with a oil heater heating silicone oil and a thermistor for detecting the temperature of the silicone oil, will not give rise in the temperature of the silicone oil until the oil heater measures the time, after it has been turned on and a fixed time passes in adjusting the temperature of the silicone oil and will not need a traditional sensor for detecting the residual amount of the silicone oil by judging the lack of the residual amount of the oil and giving a display and warn of it, when the detected temperature of the thermistor lies within a temperature range larger than the environmental temperature and less than the temperature of the oil heater. SOLUTION: Separating oil, applied to a heating and pressure roller for improving mold release between the heating and pressure roller and transfer material, both of which is provided with a heating and pressure fixing equipment, and a separating oil heating heater for heating the separating oil; oil temperature detecting means detecting the temperature of the isolating oil; environmental temperature detecting means detecting the environmental temperature around the device for forming the image; oil heater temperature detecting means detecting the temperature of the isolating oil heating heater; and oil temperature detecting means after the isolating oil heating heater is turned on and a fixed time passes. |
