PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of improving the degree of freedom in installment location of devices along with a better appearance. SOLUTION: A TV signal received at an antenna 12 is extracted as a channel signal at a tuner unit 13. The extracted signal is modulated with an ultra wideband impulse communication method at a UWB transmission unit 14, and transmitted to a display device 3 via an antenna 15. In the display device 3, the channel signal is demodulated by a USB reception unit 22 and outputted to a signal processing unit 23, after the signal is received by an antenna 21. In the signal processing unit 23, the display and the audio output of a video/ audio output circuit 24 are controlled, based on the channel signal.
