PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information equipment having an auto power-off function capable of setting an optimal power-off time according to the operation state of this device. SOLUTION: This information equipment having an auto power-off function is provided with an input device 22 to which an input operation is performed, an input detection means 19 for detecting the input operation to the input device 22, an RTC 12 for measuring a time, a CPU 14 for measuring operation time intervals to the input device 22 within a fixed time by the input detecting means 19 and the RTC 12, and for calculating the mean value of the measured operation time intervals, and for setting an auto power-off time by using the mean value of the operation time intervals, and for controlling the information equipment, and an auto power-off means 16 for interrupting a power source after the lapse of the set auto power-off time. |
