PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a display device to operate speedier than a conventional one, and also to reduce stripes occurring on the seams of divided blocks on a display picture that are caused by load differences among signal lines. SOLUTION: The display device comprises a gate driver 6 for sequentially supplying a scanning signal to scanning lines G1 -GM arranged in a plurality of columns, and source drivers 4, 5 for sequentially supplying video signals Video I, II or III, IV to signal lines S1 -SN arranged in a plurality of rows so as to intersect a plurality of the scanning lines G1 -GM. The source drivers 4, 5 are divided into a plurality of blocks, respectively. A boundary position between adjacent signal lines Sy-1 , Sy corresponding to between adjacent divided blocks of the source driver 4, a boundary position between adjacent signal lines Sp-1 , Sp corresponding to between adjacent divided blocks of the source driver 5, and a boundary position between adjacent signal lines Sq-1 , Sq are different from each other. The display device is provided with a control part 7 for sequentially drive-controlling each of the source drivers 4, 5 frame by frame.
