Safety device for a garden torch, uses radial projections from head supporting fuel canister to stop fuel spilling if torch falls over

The garden torch has a fuel canister (2) held in fingers (11) formed by splitting the end of a bamboo cane (10). The other end of the cane is pushed into the ground. A number of 'L'-shaped strips (5) are held between bamboo fingers and canister so they extend radially outward. They are distributed round the head so if the torch falls over, the canister is held at an angle that avoids spillage.
