The invention concerns a electric power supply device for cathodes (12) of a chlorine-sodium diaphragm electrolytic cell consisting of an electrolytic cell (10) and a plurality of mutually alternating and parallel cathodes and anodes equal in number, the device comprising an electrical connection element (6) consisting of at least a copper plate (16) electrically connected to the cathodes via electrical connection means. The invention is mainly characterized in that the copper plate (16) is directly in contact with the electrolyte of the electrolytic cell (10), the cathodes being directly connected to the copper plate via electrical connection means.
