The locking device comprises a collar (1) which can be placed to move on the male connector of the first tube element (5A). The collar penetrates partially, with the male connector, into the female connector of the second tubular element (5). Lugs (2) extend either outwards on the collar or inwards on the female connector, and there are as many locking tracks (3) formed on the female connector or collar as there are lugs. The locking tracks engage the lugs like a bayonet lock during assembly of the two tubular elements. An Independent claim is included for a tubular element using the locking device.
