PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct the timbre of a musical sound signal played on a keyboard, an automatically played sound sequence signal, etc. SOLUTION: A voice data library containing a plurality of voice data groups and a pattern data library containing a plurality of pieces of pattern data for generating the automatically played sound signal sequence are provided in a RAM 54. The voice data groups include timbre parameters and pattern select data and one voice data group is written in a buffer according as a timbre is selected. At the same time, pattern data in the pattern data library are written in a panel data buffer. Timbre parameters are used for timbre control over a musical sound signal to be generated and pattern select data are used to select pattern data matching the timbre. The voice data group and pattern data are both edited and stored in the libraries. |
