PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there are many work processes, troublesome work, poor productivity, and high cost in the conventional method of processing a negative current collector. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the negative current collector for a dry battery is provided, where a plating line in which a conductive plating is conducted to the line material is cut in desired length to form the material of the negative current collector, one end of the material is ruined to make a head, and processes such as polishing, cutting, and drawing the other end is performed to form a taper insertion end.
