<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for forming sub-characters on a touch panel type display equipped with a touch panel type keyboard. SOLUTION: A contact means is set so as to be brought into contact with the surface of the keys of a keyboard, and the main characters of the keys are formed on a display device. Moreover, a contact position is moved along the surface of the keyboard from the initial position of the contact position to a certain distance. The formed straight line and a coordinate system where the initial position and the last position are present are defined as a reference, and an angle between the initial position and the last position present in the above distance is calculated. Then, sub-characters corresponding to the formed angle are selected. The selected sub-characters are formed on the display device. The sub-characters are displayed on the keys, and the sweep direction is indicated.</p> |
