PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously view a plurality of programs by a simple operation. SOLUTION: A reception system is provided with a distribution device for specifying a plurality of broadcasting channels to be received on the basis of program broadcasting schedule information of a plurality of television broadcasting systems and generating and distributing control information controlling a display layout of video images of broadcasting programs by the plurality of broadcasting channels, and a receiver for inputting the control information distributed by the distribution device, simultaneously receiving television broadcasting signals of a plurality of reception channels specified by the control information and displaying the video images of the television broadcasting programs of the plurality of channels by a layout according to the control information.
