PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator, a motor using the insulator and a method for fixing the insulator which reduce bends, when the insulator is built into a core. SOLUTION: The insulator 80 electrically insulates an armature winding 42 from a core 41, that the armature winding 42 is wound thereto. The insulator 80 is provided with a plurality of teeth 80a, that the winding 42 is wound onto and a ring 80b for interconnecting a plurality of the teeth 80a. Protrusions 81, facing teeth 41a of the core 41 and extending in the axial direction, are formed in a plurality of the teeth 80a. The protrusions 81 are formed individually for the core 41 and are not positioned on both side of the teeth 41a of the core 41.
