PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a facsimile apparatus which can avoid printing the back page upside down, when double-sided printing is conducted. SOLUTION: A user turns on or off an inversion processing function when printing the back according to the manuscript size and a manuscript read direction at a transmission side by input from an operation port 11, and following this, a PCU 9 controls the operation of a plotter 10.
