PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently recognize identification information. SOLUTION: This recognizing device for recognizing the identification information on articles comprises an ultraviolet ray radiator 5 for emitting only the identification information entered by using a paint illuminated by ultraviolet, a complete view camera 3 and a partial view camera 4 for taking in the identification information as images, and mechanisms 6, 7, and 8 for moving the cameras 3 and 4 in X-, Y-, and Z-directions. |
