PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of providing an image for stereoscopic vision according to an optical filter fitted to a display device of a user. SOLUTION: In the case of distributing an optical fitter to be fitted to a screen of a display device for stereoscopic vision of an image to users, identification information is attached to the optical filter. The image providing method includes a step S12 of authenticating the user on the basis of the identification information when the user to which the optical filter is distributed uses the identification information to access a site on a network (S10), and includes a step S14 of permitting the authenticated user to access the image.
