PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rise of temperature inside an image forming device main body without increasing the size of the image forming device and without taking away heat from a fixing device. SOLUTION: A fixing cover 27 is provided so as to cover the upper part of the fixing device main body 26 having a heat roller and a pressure roller in a fixing case. In the fixing cover, an exhaust duct 30 for expelling gas in the image forming device main body is integrally formed. In addition, a heat insulating material 33 is affixed to the internal surface of the fixing cover, thereby providing a heat insulating portion 34. A drawing fan may be provided in the intake opening of the exhaust duct. Also, a heat pipe may be provided in the exhaust duct. The exhaust duct is connected to a main duct 35 disposed in the image forming device main body. An exhaust fan 37 is disposed in the vent of the main duct. |
