PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient umbrella rental system, umbrella rental management method and umbrella rental system management server. SOLUTION: A member managing means 21 in the management server 2 receives a member registration from a portable telephone 3 via a transmission path 8, stores member information, and transmits a rent collection undertaking command to a rent collection server 4 of a portable telephone service company. When a store terminal 5 in a rental shop transmits identification information on a member who wants to rent a rental umbrella, it is compared with the stored information and authentication information is returned, whereupon rental is conducted. An umbrella managing means 22 that receives rental information transmits a rental umbrella replenishment command to a delivery management server. When return information is transmitted from each store terminal, a recovery command is transmitted to the delivery management server, whereupon recovery is followed by disinfection and repair.
