PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for circulating returnable containers by which a supplier need not dispose of or keep surplus containers generated in large quantities, the supplier can provide new containers quickly when a large quantity of them is in short supply and a customer, namely, a consignee, need not be asked to do cumbersome work. SOLUTION: Utilizing a network such as the Internet for controlling returnable containers, the present invention is a system for circulating returnable containers which comprises a means for inputting information such as a form data of a shape and the number of the containers currently used or owned by a supplier, the number of containers owned, and usage and necessary quantity or the like, a means to accumulate information which has been input, a means to detect or search data of surplus or shortage of containers based on the accumulated information and a means to deal with a method of collection and delivery of the containers based on the detected or searched data of surplus or shortage. The invention controls these means and rents returnable containers to each supplier. |
