PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately reflect progress information for every learner in a learner model even when it is used in diversified styles of class such as mass teaching or group learning. SOLUTION: A history information control section 23 registers a learner authenticated by a user authentication section 21 as a learning performer and registers other learners who learn with the learning performer as a learning participant, and after the learning is over, optimizes the history information collected while supporting learning-not only the history information of the learning performer stored in a history information storage section 26 but also the history information to be added to the history information of the learners registered as a learning participant. Thus, even when collective learning such as mass teaching or group learning is carried out, the progress information of each learner can be appropriately reflected in the learner model since the history information of the collective learning is so made as to be reflected in the history information of all the learners participating in the collective learning.
