PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device which can secure stability in key operation detection while maintaining high durability, portability, and excellent operability. SOLUTION: On main cases MC1 to MC4, key switch substrates PB1 to PB4 having key switches are fixed, keyboard units KU1 to KU4 are arranged correspondingly on the substrates PB1 to PB4, and the units KU1 and KU4 are so constituted as to slide and move to the cases MC1 and MC4 in the key array direction; and cases MC which are adjacent to each other among four main cases MC are connected rotatably by connection parts CON1 to CON3. The units KU1 and KU4 are slid and moved and then the cases MC can have both a folding arrangement for easy portage and a plane expansion arrangement for playing through the respective connection parts CON. In the plane arrangement, key switches of substrates PB face the respective keys of the corresponding unit KU1 and KU4 and key operations of the respective keys can be detected. |
