The oil pump with synchronizing module is fitted in the sump (16) of a piston engine (10). It includes a casing (24) containing a synchronizing shaft with synchronizing weights on its ends. The weights are enclosed in containers with an open upper region, from which oil is pumped by blades on the weights and a gear wheel (48) driven by the engine crankshaft.
