Connection rod (8) and central electrode (13) include bores (11, 14) and a captive optical conductor (10, 3). The internal connector (12) is electrically- and optically conductive. It is identical with the optical conductor (10, 3) material, or may differ. It is homogeneously bonded, chemically and physically. Laser energy leaves the exit point (16) which is focusing or non-focusing. Ignition energy is made available at the ignition point (17). A threaded connector (20, 24) is screwed or pushed onto the connection thread (9), completing the connection with the ignition plug cable and its axial optical conductor (22).
