Electrical cable (10) comprises a metallic and/or optical conductor; an external casing (13); and a screen (14) partially formed from a metal coating (16). Preferred Features: The screen is made from a metal layer sprayed onto the casing, and a metal coating applied on the metal layer. The metal layer has a lower thickness than the metal coating. The metal layer and coating is made from copper, aluminum, zinc, tin or their alloys. The casing is made from a thermoplastic material.
