A cavity (dA, dB) is formed between a stator core (20), which is an external mold, and a mold (30A, 30B) having a projection (31, 32) entering a slot (23). The cavity (dA) has its opposite sides (dA1) gradually widened from the slot opening to the innermost region, and the cavity (dB) has its innermost corner (dB2) widened. Fluidized resin substantially uniformly flows into every part through the widened region to form a stator core having an insulation member. Thereby, in the core having an insulation member integrally molded of synthetic resin, the charging of synthetic resin is accurately effected while ensuring the slot occupancy rate and the insertability of coils.
